The most important accessory on a keyboard is a light that tells you when the CAPS LOCK feature is on. Unfortunately many keyboards don’t have that luxury. So how do you know if you accidentally hit the CAPS LOCK or not? You can solve that problem when using Word 2010!

Word 2010’s Status bar can be customized with a variety of options to make your life easier, including a CAPS LOCK indicator. Simply right-click on the Status bar at the bottom of the Word window and select CAPS LOCK from the list. When you press the CAPS LOCK button on the keyboard, the Status bar indicates if it’s on or off. Who needs the CAPS LOCK light anyway?!
